Serriously, I think all of you guys that are bashing windows should really read up on it before. I have windows running with no problems on many different hardware configurations for many weeks without rebooting. Just because you get your blue screens doesnt mean that windows sucks. It means that you installed some crap software or your hardware is not setup correctly. I also know admins that run ms sql on windows 2003 for 4 years without reboooting under heavy load. So if you don't have experience with windows, keep your silly comments to yourself.
PS. Ill switch to linux as soon as my thumb mouse pointer on my laptop will be configured by default with every installation. :)
Yes, these might have crappy resolution but i think soon, its going to get better. Imagine these glasses pared with TrackIR4 in Quake or Flight Simulator X. Now that would be hot.
dunno about it being a camera. Sure looks like a big laser you put on the back of a shark.
can we get a Windows key on the keyboard :)
Is a two button mouse going to be offered as well with the new OS/BootCamp?
For some reason im thinking this is a bad move by apple. There was nothing wrong with OS/X besides that there was no apps for it. But it was a good base for Unix applications. Now apple is going to be selling ipods and white boxes with windows on them.
Once again prop's to Bill Gates for being a smart business man.
Also, why is pirated content being played on all these mockups. :)
Nice but still, how long will the battery last on a screen thats twice as big as the current 60gig ipod?
I remember there was a story here on a chip by apple that in theory should increase battery life.
So lets say current 60Gig plays a video for 4 hours and audio for 20 hours. The video ipod with new chip should lets says play the video/audio which are same since the screen needs to be rendered for what like 8 hours max? Its not that bad considering an average person shouldn't listen to more then 5 hours of audio a day and if u do, then u should get a life. I guess it boils down to it being possible but with its own sets of sacrafises.
hm, interesting.
Ill be cool if it also had a built in rechargeble battery or even better a fuel cell to power that hungry Origami. :)
My eyes already hurt from this color.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
