I did not buy one. I was hoping for a replacement for the Powerbook 12". I have a Powerbook 15" now. I'm quite a bit disappointed, as it isn't all that much smaller than the macbook pro looking at the comparison pictures. I am more worried about length and width than with thickness.
Oh, well. That and other reasons why I replaced my 7 year old Powerbook 15" with a MacbookPro 15".
As someone who runs a Powerbook G4 15" as my main computer, this is interesting. I have been thinking about getting a smaller laptop, as the 15" is a pain to carry around. A 13" sounds good. I could use it with a monitor at home, and have a tiny little computer to carry around for when I need to be portable. I hope that this is the long awaited replacement for the 12" Powerbook. My father would like to replace his 12" Powerbook too. In case anyone is wondering, Macs usually last me 5-7 years before I need to buy a new one. Oh, I want to buy one before that, but I don't need to.
Please, My batteries in my devices last for years. I have 4 or 5 year old cell phones that still power on if charged up. I charge my Palm TX every night, whether it needs it or not, and it still works for days when I need it to, and it is over a year old.
I use the heck out of my devices and they never seem to run out of juice. Except my 15" Powerbook that is 6 years old. It's battery only lasts an hour now. But it is 6 years old, and it is spent "docked" most of the time.
The local gamestop had a package of guitar type picks that were for the DS. I asked what they were for, and he said a guitar hero game coming out later. So maybe they will just use the touchscreen?
It is a Powerbook G4. I have the same model. I used to run it all the time with an external monitor, closed. I stopped because the monitor failed. I tend to believe that he closed it when it caught fire, trying to put it out. IF this is even a picture of that laptop.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
