Mar 16th 2006 2:27PM Lifetime is a word used by companies in different ways. For example, 3Com used to offer a real lifetime warranty. Now it means about 3years, although it is still a lifetime (of the product). So the lifetime subscription could be over as soon as the next-gen equipment comes out.
