at 375Mbps and with most cameras today running a cool 10 to 12Mpixels... I would be waving my camera in front of my tv for quite a little while I think.
well shiver-me-timbers... it actually is a nice looking little car. I agree as above - a very important car for GM.
Here's hoping it gets those mpg numbers they are talking about and keeps going like the energizer bunny...
It'd be nice to eventually get the tax dollars back but there is a lot more than that to benefit from a healthy and competitive GM.
What they really need is an impressive info-tainment system in that beastie.
The kids likey the tech these days.
And why not - it's nice to just tell your radio to play what you want and have it happen.
I would like to have this please.
These two things are not competitors what-so-ever unless the pricing for roaming broadband changes as drastically as a heart attack.
That might include carriers actually realizing the word "unlimited" already has a meaning and that it is not 5GB.
But seriously - the bandwidth is a question and more-so on portable systems so a web-centric vs local-app fight is not a fight at all.
It is apples and oranges...
Or in this case googles and other different googles.
I would love to have the i here in the states.
Everything I read about that car is aces it seems.
But that engine is the single worst thing about the Smart in the states... and that includes the still oft complained of tranny.
Either of these vehicles would do much better here with a more economical engine.
Frankly anything that takes hi-test is just a deal breaker for a lot of people.. particular people looking to save money on gas with a smaller car.
And while gas/money savings is not the only reason for a smaller car - for many it is a big reason.
Detroit Electric... is that from harbour freight?
Yeah... that all sounds cool.. but the last new car I bought had a stereo with 2 (that's right ... two !!) banks of FM channels.
Rock that mofo...
Once again they bring a small car then give it a bigger engine because "that is what we want" ... and make it a high-test burner to boot... and now the tongue wagging is that the smart is failing so it shows again that americans don't want small cars.
AGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH !!!!!
It just makes you want to scream doesn't it.
Come on fiat/chrysler or nissan or toyota/scion or anyone at all..... GIVE US A REAL CHOICE OF A SMALL EFFICIENT CAR WITH SOME STYLE AND CAPABILITY !!!
See if americans really don't like it if they have an honest viable product and not some latter day yugo crap-tastic mobile or one with crap mileage figures.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
