These are just rebranded Ultimate Ears Triple.Fi 10 with a $100 premium (though I like the silver and black of the M-Audio's better than the metallic blue the UE's come in). If you look at the other M-Audio headphones, you'll see this isn't the first Ultimate Ears rebadge they've done.

ihavetinybals, M-Audio phones are not 'shit', just overpriced.

NSoria, eBay has Triple.Fi 10s for $360 if you really want these now.

Blakamin, if you ever heard real IEMs (especially triple driver IEMs like these or Shure E500s) you'd know how much better these are than SkullCandy's 'bass and nothing else' earphones.
Shure E4Cs and Ety ER4Ps can be found for ~$180 if you look around. And I really doubt these would outshine either of those IEMs.
And transcoding doesn't count. It just further degrades the quality and is a resource hog on the host computer. Are you listening Microsoft & Divx, Inc.?
You are all missing the point. Pretty much all scene movies, tv shows, etc are released in DivX/XviD. If you're downloading video off a torrent site, chances are more than likely its encoded in DivX/XviD. Now if you're only watching videos you own in DVD, this isn't a big deal. You can rip and encode your videos in whatever codec you want. But for the rest of us pirates, we want native DivX/XviD support! Arrrgh!

(I know this isn't DivX, Inc.'s motivation, but its the real reason anyone would really want DivX support in any device.)
Looks nicer than much of the iHome and other accessory maker's speaker docks.
tekdroid: You're an Urban Tool. And anyone wearing the Urban Tool will look like a complete tool.
At least Commodore has somewhat positive connotations to it. Packard Bell just brings up memories of cheap, junk PCs that you would find at almost every retail outlet in the early and mid 90s. At least in the US anyway. This brand should be put out of its misery.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
