Happy 1st Anniversary, App Store! {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jul 7th 2009 12:00PM Haha, I actually accessed the App Store before it was officially out, and clicked "buy" on Super Monkey Ball, not believing it would actually purchase... It did, and I was $10 short until I was able to load it onto my phone a day later. 2.0 seemed so great the time on my 2G... I love my 3GS now though :D
3G S application that Apple forgot to mention: dog whistle {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jun 22nd 2009 4:39PM Yup, that's true. There's no such thing as "black dye." There are really dark blues or purples, and that's what is used to dye plastic "black."
How to get an iPhone 3G S tomorrow in US, UK, and Canada {Engadget}
Jun 18th 2009 10:37PM There's another line in my family plan that I'm willing to upgrade on. Will I end up with two iPhone contracts? I currently have an iPhone 3G that can't upgrade until mid next year. I want to transfer the new 3G S over to my iPhone 3G plan, from another line. Is this possible? That line is upgrade eligible for the $300 pricing.

AT&T relents a little, lets iPhone 3G customers with upcoming upgrade dates buy 3G S at full subsidy {Engadget}
Jun 17th 2009 4:01PM Mehrad, your upgrade eligibility doesn't have to do with when you purchased your phone as much as it has to do with how much you're paying for your service. I'm guessing your iPhone is just one phone that's included within a family plan. This will drive the upgrade eligibility date further back, as opposed to being on your own line, paying for the most minutes and the most everything you could.

Jun 6th 2009 1:34AM What's more annoying is how you have to mention this to us. There's always someone that posts this for every article. If you don't like TUAW's journalism, don't comment on the site, you're actually just wasting more of your valuable time that you could be using reading Engadget or MacRumors.
New iPhone OS 3.0 beta hits the dev center {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Apr 15th 2009 6:07AM iPhone updates are excluded from the upgrade program, but not in a bad way. Say you purchased the original iPhone w/ EDGE. Doesn't matter if it was the day that phone came out, or the day before the 3G was released. You'll still be eligible for the $200/300 "upgrade" iPhone 3G pricing. This also worked if you bought a 4/8GB iPhone EDGE and bought the 16GB iPhone EDGE, but not from 4GB to 8GB... Do you understand? When a new iPhone is released, then you will always be eligible for upgrade pricing, regardless of the the time of purchase of your previous iPhone. This only works with iPhones, though.
