The only reason I'm not using Spaces all the time is because that annoying Office:Mac 2008 glitch.

They really need to fix that, because it drives me nuts!!!
Why don't they change the UI to the MobileMe style?

Example:

Doesn't even have to be black, but at least change the buttons and scrollbars to this.
He might be true.

I would buy a Macbook voor $799 but not will never buy one for $999

Still to expensive compared to let's say an Acer laptop.
Just testing out The Hit List and wow they've really though of everything. It's sort of a mix between Omnifocus, Things and Midnight Inbox.
But it looks and works and just feels better than any of them.

I'm gonna test this app out for a while, but already I'm pretty sure i'll be buying this app.
This is a really cool app.

I never really liked Things for some reason and even though I use Omnifocus at the moment, the Inspector window really annoys me (No I'm not just repeating what TUAW says....it really is the most annoying thing about about Omnifocus, they have to redesign the app)

The Hit list could be my next favorite app, but I just think that ALL these glorified To-Do lists are way to expensive.
In The Netherlands Apple Care is a fraud.

Because in The Netherlands all electronic devices bought have a 2 year warranty by law.

So even if you don't get Apple Care, but your Mac does brake after 12 months...Apple would still have to fix it for you (within 24 months)
Thanks Frank!

And yeah the WYSIWYG function apparently does make a noticeable difference in speed.
To bad I can't really live without that function.

Still, the update does improve speed....start up of Word is way faster for me.
Wow!

MS Word starts up way faster now....actually it seems to be a whole lot faster overall.

Btw, after a reinstall of MS Office 2008, I have a weird problem of Word not showing an example of the fonts from the drop down menu (if that makes any sense)

Does anyone know how to fix this??
Probably because they try to reach the recent Windows switchers who might be used to seeing the word ActiveX.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
