Must be a slow day at Engadget. This post doesn't belong on Engadget, maybe Makezine or Hackaday...
Does anyone really care about blackberries these days?
What idiots. Why in the world did they include a screen and buttons??? *snark*
Does anyone know if they are going to add support for Google themes on the Google Apps Start Pages?
This is *brilliant* and the solar pods could fold up for protection in case of a hail storm.
For a nice online calculator check out http://www.eCalc.com
The calculator support both infix and RPN mode. It has a built in unit converter, equation solver, and a few other nice features.
Vista is not that bad. Apple has done a good job bashing MS. I've recently purchased a macbook and while OS X is nice, it doesn't stand head and shoulders above Vista - at least not from a UI standpoint. Give it up Apple fanboys...
DropBox rules, the only thing it needs it the ability to "lock" a file so others can't mess with your work if you have a file that can't merge.
Office what?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
