Fair enough. I don't mind waiting as long as they keep us in the info-loop.
Although I have a PS3 I really don't care which one wins out in the end, just as long as this ridiculous sandbox war ends. It hurts us as consumers.
I can't agree with the effects in Mesmerize being varied and engaging, only one of them really felt any good, and the whole thing gets boring after 5 minutes, especially with the slow loading in-between effects.
Gave nothing, got nothing.
I was so getting Guitar Hero III for Christmas (as a present to myself), but now I'll just get Rock Band instead. Activision, I fart in your general direction. Profane and crude, but then again it's on your level.
Please don't let this be a fake post. I already love Super Stardust HD just the way it is, I dare not become ecstatic over a possible update to it and then perhaps let down. I'll avert my eyes until it is in the store, then I'll...run around nude screaming with bliss :)
I chip in with previous speakers. I was going to get both games, now it'll be Rock Band only. Shame - and shame on Activision.
Patch notes, we wants patchnotes. Okay, I do at least.
I'm sold on this game already.
Sold - I'm getting it. It's not great looking but I've missed this game. Now all I need to be really happy is the similar shooter Einhänder.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
