I didn't hear any words during that video, just the following:

Cutting Crew - I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight

As the son of a 20+ year Lexus salesman, I agree that this model took a wrong turn in the design stage. Where's the swank, the fat cat, the low slung land shark, the grandeur?

This looks like the work of efficiency experts, especially the South Korean kind.

I rather enjoy the look of the current LS.
Autoblog quoted somebody, I believe Clarkson, a short time ago. It went something like this,

"Bringing on a woman to co-host Top Gear, simply to appease the diversity plight of some, naively suggests that the female audience can only accept a message if it is delivered to them by someone of the same sex and not based on the personal merit of the hosts."

Putting emphasis on diversity rather than content is superficial and silly. Women are every bit as capable of accepting a show based on merit and not whether or not it is hosted by men or women. Now, let's all go watch The View.
The WDTV HD itself is pretty minuscule. It's the same length and width as the WD Passport portable hard disk and is 1 3/4" tall. I can't imagine having too little of space for something that small.

"The" place for updates, modified firmware, and etc.
Not very enticing considering the WDTV HD is frequently on sale for $99 at retailers.

Balls Out: Gary The Tennis Coach...

District 9 looks to be the winner this week. 91% and 9.1 IMDB
NASCAR, the most interesting version of traffic.
What in the world is Panasonic doing? It appears they are dropping the ball on their current hardware. Amazon Unbox and Youtube seems kind of lame compared to streaming Netflix, Blockbuster and Pandora. Everytime I hear about Samsung updating their players with these features, I can't help but feel a little jealous sitting here with my Panny BD60.
I believe so. He's a denim man.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
