Yes, shame on him for not wanting to spend $2800 on a Mac Pro.
BOOEY POWER... GO!!
I've got one of the iPod video 30gigs, and hate the thing! The other day it froze, and because of the brilliant design the iPod is, there's no removable battery OR reset button. The Play+Menu combo didn't do jack, so I had to wait for the thing to die!

These new Zunes look pretty slick, and I may have to pick one up. Oh, and the people commenting on how MS is being "nice", it's an example of how competition helps the consumer! MS is competing in the portable media player market, so they're going to do what they can to win over the consumer. It's what Apple's done to be so successful (although not lately it seems).
Umm.. Have you ever heard about Steve Jobs' love for the quote "good artists create, great artists steal"??? Apple in a way is just like those Chinese knock-off companies! So don't be complaining about it and saying how Apple is all-innocent. There's some video out there where Steve Jobs himself says that the way to "innovate" is to copy others ideas and develop them. That REALLY sounds familiar to what the Chinese are currently doing.

Just my two cents.
HAHA yea, it's pretty sad that my 50 dollar cheapo phone from Verizon that I bought TWO YEARS ago can do this in 2 steps! The best thing is, I didn't need a computer, and I definitely didn't need to use a command line. I think it's funny that so many people worship this thing, they forget that most of the features this thing has, aren't that "revolutionary".
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
