Jul 16th 2008 3:29PM amd uses the same instruction sets yes, but they are implemented different. it is possible this just effects intel, which would be really cool (I have machines running on either). I'm not a fanboy of either even though I used to work for AMD, but each company has benefits to me (intel in mobile of course and amd for afforable desktops

Jul 14th 2008 11:44AM Thanks for the info dan2600. I did find a video of it in action somewhere on the web and it did seem to have that bad response. I do have to admit that the commercial done for this product is a pretty cool one, though the small text saying all the touch video is a "dramatization" doesn't make it seem that great. I definitely think the styling is a good step for HP and this is a step in the right direction (at least someone beat apple to it), but it still has a little ways to go.

Jul 10th 2008 9:02AM I agree, popcornhour all the way. And for your argument Danny, check out their forums, there are tons of skins to make the interface very slick even looking like xbmc. You can do all kinds of mods to the popcorn hour to make it work just like you want. I doubt this machine will give you any type of control like that.

Jun 18th 2008 10:13AM Sorry to hear that a. I have the 15/2 plan and while I don't quite get the full upload rated, my download tests come in around 16. Downloading through rapidshare I actually get a full 2MB/s. I'm definitely not complaining and the increase is very welcomed. Upping my upload from 2 to 5 should definintely be noticeable. I also have no issues gaming and that includes the PS3, 360 and my computers. We have 9 machines in our house on the network and there's no issues with our FIOS. Thanks Verizon.

Jun 13th 2008 2:27PM Can you guys not read? There are two ways to break apart water. Electrolysis and chemically. This uses chemicals, not electrolysis. The electrolysis versions you see around like water4gas use the "extra" energy created from your alternator to add a small amount of hydrogen and boost your mpg. Though those are highly controversial as to whether or not they actually do anything. This is completely different.
