been wanting one of these.
Ok, the Verizon against AT&T ads are great and very true. They compare apples to apples (or 3G to 3G). Now they're attacking Sprint's call droppiong and 3G? Those have nothing to do with each other. I dropped Verizon 2 years ago for sprint and to be honest I've never had issues with either dropping calls, but again that's nothing to do with 3G. I've also happened to have wireless cards for both verizon and sprint at the same time. But as usual, based on where I was located, one or the other worked better, with Sprint mostly winning in the areas I used it most, so Verizon was out completely FOR ME.

Again 3G has nothing to do with calls dropping. They got it right with AT&T, but now they're the ones all mixed up with Sprint. Keep showing those ads Sprint, cause they're probably the best cell commercials ever. And thanks for the free mobile-to-mobile (any network), my usage has dropped to nearly nothing now!
time to login screen in vmware isn't valid. all of my vm's boot to the login screen in under 10 seconds and that includes every windows server version, xp and win7. I practially live in vmwares on a day to day basis.
damn, no hd video. guess i'm still gonna go with the panasonic waterproof camera. well i have till march till i HAVE to make a decision, but I doubt there will be any others to compete with by then.
I checked these out at the local frys and they are both sweet machines, though the super glossy screen would keep me from ever buying either one. What happened to the good old matte displays?
this is the one feature of lenovos that has kept me from peronsally buying one for myself. they have it all backwards.

about time they fixed this. now how do we change the actual buttons?
very impressive, but when will they realize we hate caps for our thumb drives? make them retract or have a swinging cap that you can't lose. CAPS SUCK!
if they can do the 14" with a 1680x1050 resolution or higher, then I'll be first to buy one.
This was out before the touch edition, at least out and available. They both launched the same day though the touch was near impossible to find (I know, I spent two days looking for one), but everyone already had the pocket editions with plenty of stock.

Maybe this is the first time it's available on Sony's site or something? Fry's has even had it on their shelves for weeks and they're always slow at getting new things.

The one good thing about this one is the screen. It doesn't have the slight reflective nature of the touch, and is on par with the now-discountinued 505 for readability (what my touch replaced).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
