Amazon: 6 million DRM-free songs on T-Mobile G1 {Engadget}

Sep 23rd 2008 12:24PM No 3G downloads means that Apple can sit back and watch T-mobile suck on a cock (and I mean male chicken here).

Sep 23rd 2008 12:22PM I run squeezecenter at home. It lets me browse and download any song I own from my N95 and N78 from anywhere, anytime. That means on 3G, not this crippled garbage. The N95 has symtorrent and symella available also just to let you know. You could also use ORB or Twonkymedia server. You have options. Not this crippleware.

Sep 22nd 2008 1:45PM No kidding when I was there even the Reliance Broadband centers were annoying slow by US standards. The people I talked to who had used US or European broadband all complained about the slowness of home broadband there. Now those big multinationals have some sweet bandwidth to throw around, but most of it is meant for and used for VOIP.

Sep 22nd 2008 1:42PM Remote backup is good, but what's the point of saving on a $40 HDD?

Sep 22nd 2008 1:40PM Seriously. I don't get the point of this either. Maybe on a local LAN it might make sense but in a world of $20 8GB SD cards at least give us some storage/local cache.

Sep 22nd 2008 1:38PM Anyone who's used internet in India will tell you right now that this will not work. If my apps and data have to be downloaded on what is promised to be 384kbps download and in reality something like 80kbps then this thing will offer a miserable experience.

PS3 Video Store provides more reason to avoid DRM {Engadget}

Sep 22nd 2008 1:35PM My PS3 does not have a job. It does not pay for any videos, so how is it that they tell me that my PS3 owns the video and not me? Maybe I bought it and gifted it to my PS3? I don't know but I'm not buying anything that I am forced to gift away.

Sep 18th 2008 5:54PM Has anyone looked at those dimensions? That thing is massive. Wake me when a uATX version comes out.
