I thought Apple had effectively killed that notion that we like using a stylus to input on a small screen. And that we like not having a standard headphone jack and using proprietary accessories in order to connect our headphones.
I don't usually post when I have only negative things to say, but I must agree - this is 2006, almost 2007. You are sitting with a product that a lot of people are interested in and you are going to unbox it - drop the one hand camera phone and get serious. I don't know what psfk is but by the looks of it, it's not serious.

And to you Engadget - shame for posting this amateur hour unboxing. Painful to watch. I hope 2007 is the year you set up your own little lab with an HD cam and some good lighting and do your OWN unboxings as you must surely have the opportunity for.
I have a similar config and like fshiz....fshizzle...the first one to comment on this post don't have any problems at all, but that is not to say other people aren't having a problem. Obviously they are, and I hope Apple makes something public soon. As the previous owner of a PowerBook with a defective screen I can relate to the frustration a lotta folks are feeling with a pretty expensive purchase.

Anyway. You can rule out this being a subjective issue - mine is whisper quiet, no other way of describing it really.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
