If plasmas were so crap why are the pioneer plasmas the best TVs money can buy? i know were talking about phones but plasma is better than LCD, probably not OLED though
I wanna see some benchies...
'Upping the ante to 1080p is the the 37-inch TC-37LZ85 -- the firm's first VIERA of that size'

Actually the first viera 37" lcd with 1080p output was the 37LZD70 which has been out for a few months. cant wait for the new 80/800 series :D
Still expensive for a crappy brand, i saw this on QVC myself. One of the older tosh hd-dvd players has just gone clearence at currys (i think it was the hde2) retailing for £149 which is even better
Pioneer Kuro 428XD

By far the best TVs you can get, most realistic picture, best contrast levels (contrast ratio doesnt mean jack), best sound, best SD enhancements and a gorgeous design to finish it off.

Proud owner of one
"Other LCDs, especially Pioneers and Toshibas, will exhibit distinct and disturbing "feathering" on fast horizontal motion, indicative of a poor processor speed and refresh rate"

On a side note, Pioneer doesnt make LCD TVs and IMO are much superior to any LCD panel
Yeah, its one of the ones unvieled at CES. We've just had the PDP4280XD come in in our store (pictured) retailing at £1800. The blacks are more impressive and realistic in this new model touting a 16:000 contrast ratio but picture quality hasnt improved much since the previous model but that takes some beating, i've got the 427 myself and even standard def looks good
that thing is well ugly....
i'd love to know how much these babys are, i'd love one of these
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
