This is a good thing.
Think of the potential.
ok lets say Microsoft made an interactive ad for TiVo product watch. They dont have to just make a 30 sec ad they can make something that is informative and i no longer have to go on a website to see product details etc.

I like commercials that are good to me its like good shows if its good ill watch it its the stupid infomercial commercials selling a new knife which im not interested in seeing.

Targeted ads are a good idea.

I like movie trailers
I like commercials that are funny
I like super bowl commercials (now i wont have to go online to see them again, yes i can tivo them but still) I dont want to fast forward through a show to view it.

Imagine movie ads that dont just show you the commercial but synopsis etc even a reminder when a movie is currently out in your area would be cool.

If i like a show and they provide me with the ad to next weeks episode and details how cool would that be?

I YouTube commercials I like all the time if this will evolve commercials to something better im all for it. NOT EVERYONE HATES COMMERCIALS
and if they DO its the stupid ones selling knives
some companies are smart and make good commercials

Awsome! i hope movie trailers are going to be listed. I hate turning on computer go to apple.coma and watch trailers id rather watch them on my TV using TiVo

I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web.
