My Macbook has more or less gone though all that. 130 degree to sub zero, 98% humidity, being infested with ants, spilling coffee into my keyboard, getting dragged around in my backpack every day for the last year and it's ticking just fine, although a bit uglier than it was. Those test are pretty weak, I have to say.
Hot stuff
The photographer guy had one of these in Roman Holiday. All they did was finally make it digital.
They call them dictionaries so they can have them at school, other electronics are supposed to be confiscated. (at least that's what my friends told me whe i was living in Korea last year)
I saw a better looking version of these in a Sharper Image catalog on the way to Tokyo last week, and they were about the same price.
I swam with my Gameboy Advance Sp in my pocket with Pokemon in it, and I let it dry for a couple days and turned it on, and everything was perfectly fine, except the stickers on the bottom of the Sp.
Actually, it's sharper and more accurate with a sealed box. An open box is more efficient though, so the crappy woofers are ported.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
