Dec 26th 2006 2:40AM Wow, I can't believe how stupid these guys were. I work for ups as a transfer point (Where it Goes from the semis to the brown vans) and I would think that this is very hard to pull off, they'd have about a minute or so to figure out what the package was, and smear a new label on it. they got caught probably when the people who were supposed to recieve the PS3's started calling UPS, and ups started investigating, and lo and behold these guys who had access had several ups deliveries to the same place, with the shipments orginationg probably from some local location.
These dolts got caught because they forgot EVERYTHING in in hte computer.

Aug 15th 2006 11:12PM Does anybody here actually realise how important GPS, and satellite data connections are?
Those massive container ships rely on GPS to tell them their precise location in crowded harbors, so that they can know their exact depth. without satellite communication, the world stock markets can't function, international communication is also hampered. Contact with remote research stations and communities is lost. In all ssituations a loss of satellite coms for a week as compared to few months, is much better, and safer for the world.
Canon may quit film camera business {Engadget}
May 25th 2006 1:05PM At least until someone starts making single 4x5 sensors, You wont be able to pry my film from my cold dead hands.
And this is coming from somebody who uses mainly digital, Both Nikon and Canon.
It is sad though that they are dropping many of their film cameras, but it's fine, as long as they don't stop developing their non digital lenses. the same thing applies to nikon as well.

I have watched games in which both players are about 10 feet away from the end ofthe table, there are even out of bounds rules so that te players don't get too far from the table.
After playing this for a couple hours, I really like this game, it does have a steep learning curve, but for a game like his it's a plus. Most tennis games are too easy and this makes a good effort to stand out, by not just being the same as the rest, but with a nice complexity on top of it.
