iRobot's PackBot sales are soaring, as per last week's conference call, and a new Roomba model is just around the corner.

You can read about it at my iRobot blog: http://robotstocknews.blogspot.com/
Great find.
iRobot Chairwoman Helen Greiner said at the second quarter conference call that three companies have been contracted to come up with add-ons to Roomba, and that its possible one of the upgrades could be available this year:

And, by the way, it's $1,000, before buying new cloth "cartridges" every 20 days.

Yet another dud of a Roomba clone. When you can buy a Roomba for $105, why would you buy a fat honker like that one?
I have a blog all about Roomba and its cousin, Scooba:

My Roomba Buyers Guide is here:

I'd rather have a Roomba any day. And Roomba's start at just $99, not $200, so you could get 10 Roombas -- http://robotstocknews.blogspot.com/2006/03/roomba-buyers-guide.html -- or five Roombas and two $249 Scoobas (the floor washing robot) -- http://robotstocknews.blogspot.com/2006/04/scooba-255-plus-shipping-at-sharper.html
Sounds like there might be money in them thar pigs...it would be especially cool if the pigs could run off the methane produced by the sludge...

Why didn't iRobot think of this? ;
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
