If you actually owned the books you buy from Amazon I might actually consider this device, but as it is you are really just renting them and at $9.99 that is way too high of a price.
His point was that you pay twice, for the sheet music and the device that turns the sheet music into sound, which is not the same as paying for the sheet music and for the CD. Amazon's device is analogous to the device that turns the sheet music into sound, not the CD.
Sorry, wasn't trying to insult you, just defend the phone. People have not really given the Storm a fair chance. The Bold had way more software issues over the first couple of months of its release than the Storm. I think if people were to try out the Storm now with the upgraded software they would see it is a pretty great device.
I don't see any "typing" errors. I see some places where he left out words and where he used the wrong homonym, but no actual typing errors. You can't blame the phone for the person's grammar errors.
Count me as another happy Storm user. I have updated to release .85 so far, and pretty much all the issues from the original software have been corrected. I believe .86 has been leaked as well, but .85 has been so good I'm not going to update again until Verizon officially releases something.
It is true you can't type as fast on the touchscreen, but the benefits of such a large screen have far outweighed the slower typing for me. I am a business user, and I rely on my Blackberry to get me my important work email wherever I am. I couldn't be happier with it so far.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
