Oh look, NetNewsWIre reposted an old post of mine.... how special. Can a mod delete that?

What I actually tried to post is:

This works on Series2. Netflix is not available on Series2.
You know, I was just thinking "I'd love to use Linux, but the ext3 just isn't good enough so I'll have to stay with Windows 95." Well, I guess this fixes that issue!

Seriously... I just want Linux to stop feeling like the kernel needs to be bleeding edge. It's the apps that matter, not the kernel these days. And every time they muck up the kernel I get to reinstall tons of apps. Stop doing that so often!
jon: the "Apple" (aka "command key") is the Windows key. The only difference is the logo painted on it. I use an Apple keyboard with a KVM to connect to Vista, and Vista has no complaints. The only annoyance is that the Apple "help" key is interpreted as the "Insert" key under Windows, but that's pretty minor.

Switching to USB is crazy talk. The iPhone has a dock -- I hate screwing around plugging in usb every day. Standardizing is great, but couldn't we have standardized on a dock form factor too?
Nice resolution... too bad Windows isn't resolution independent though. This means that every teeny-tiny nonresizable dialog box will be emsmallened badly on this monitor.

MacOS isn't resolution independent either, but at least they're making a big push on that front and trying to get all the developers to play well with high res.
Even worse, once fully charged these expensive solar panels do absolutely nothing. If I'm going to spend the money to be green and have solar panels, I want them contributing to the grid at maximum available efficiency all day long.
If my kid was using too much of my bandwidth, I'd use traffic-shaping to let them keep doing their thing without bothering me. Maybe Comcast should just de-prioritize high-bandwidth traffic instead. Oh wait...

This is what you get for suing them for traffic shaping.
Not exactly a security hole. The toll readers take photos of the cars that go through. The photos are good enough to catch a license plate so that if the transponder fails they can still bill you properly.

So as soon as I see surprises on my bill, I tell Fastrak. They pull up the photos and get a license plate of the blackhat. Welcome to fraud charges Mr. Blackhat!
Wow, that was a lot of nonsense! For example, some cancers ARE caused by viruses. The rest of your comment was pretty much off base too.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
