From reading the article it clearly states that no American car meets the 2010 fuel efficiency requirements.

It would be interesting and make the article more impartial if they also quoted the percentage of European, Koren, etc cars that met the requirements. As if non of them met the requirements then it's clearly a case of protectionism, but if the percentage is roughly the same then it really says something about the US car industry and they're lack of improving efficiency.
"there are other ways to zoom in on objects than just Apple like two finger multitouch. Developers need to think creatively!"

They should have a system where you move your finger in a circle to zoom. Clockwise for in, anticlockwise for out, or has that already been done?
No mention if it includes a charger for your iPhone in the box?
So McLaren yet a fined $100m and docked all their points in the constructors' championship for what is really a little industrial espionage because the FIA love's Ferrari, and Renault get a slap on the wrist and told to be good and sit on the naughty step for 2 years, for what could have risked injury to their driver and the marshals, plus bringing a huge black cloud onto F1.
The C pillar of the Grand C-Max looks really awkward, unlike the normal C-Max which looks so coherent.
Wow and new video giving us car g33ks NO more information.

Thanks Ferrari
So my predictions are a Porsche Bluesport, a Panamera estate and a Porsche Up! to take on the Aston Martin Cygnet.

Or maybe VW should let Porsche sell more keyrings?
I think I'd have the just announced 911 GT3 RS, and spend the rest on Super Unleaded and hotels in the alps.
Looks like there's some air vents next to the headlights.
I guess it depends on how much you could get for your car. If it's anything over $3,104 then you wouldn't do it, but if it's worth $50 you'd be better off. And isn't that the point of the scheme, to get the worst cars off the road as well as helping the auto industry.

Well that is if you wanted a Smart in the first place.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
