@ snowleopard233: "Does that mean if the battery goes you need to replace the whole computer?"
No. You just hand over your MacBook (Pro) to Apple and they replace the built-in battery, for pretty much if not *the* same price a new removable battery would cost in an older MacBook.
I agree, it does *look* awesome. Maybe the sexiest Apple mouse so far. I hope it also has the best usability so far, but not much needs to be done to improve *that* aspect of Apple's mice. I wonder how they have been able to suck so hard at making mice all these years.
My thoughts exactly. Why the hell go *down* to 16:9 from 16:10 that gives you more screen real estate? Guess screen makers love to scroll their documents. Fsck 'em.
I do like the fact that they dumped those el cheapo TN displays they had in the previous 20-inchers, though.
I'm not rich. I have a MacBook. Had it for three years and it's still as speedy as it was in 2006. Try that with a Windows laptop. The three magical letters that sell Macs even to the non-rich: TCO...
I was a Windows user before, who used to update his hardware every three years or so. No need to do that anymore. Even less so when I upgrade to Snow Leopard.
As for this Dell here, I find it pretty droolable as far as looks go. BTW, is that a DisplayPort I see?
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
