I had two major issues with Serious Sam 2.

1) Stupid use of video: It's one thing to have high poly video. Its another thing to make a video of some guy doing machinima using the exact same engine and models that you're using in the game. If the engine could do the animations and just use audio clips instead of (usually lower resolution) video, that would have knocked a least a CD or two of data from the build and resulted in crisper cut scenes..

2) No inundation: In the first serious sam, I got 50 snarling monsters on the screen at once. In SS2, I got 50 monsters but only 5-10 at a time. The sheer amount of monsters on screen is what made serious sam awesome. especially in co-op mode. Screwing with this made SS2 suck vs SS1.

if they could fix those two points in SS3, the next one will seriously rock.

sounds like a "controlling interactive applications over multiple computers" device to me...
Things they should be doing instead.

Starter should be Free. Period. It should have been that way since Vista Starter. If MS is serious about stopping piracy, This would do it, allowing the Shadetree System buiders to build windows PC's without having to worry about piracy issues, and it gives MS the ability to offer upgrades when the user is ready.

Home basic should not exist. That, and I don't believe it's for emerging markets. thats what Starter was for.

Home Premium should be Home.

Professional should be Ultimate

Ultimate and enterprise should not exist. They don't need to. If business really want a media stripped no nonsense windows, then make Enterprise professional and keep ultimate for power home users.
windows 2000 here.
Canon used to have their print heads on the cartridges, but for some reason they decided to go with the Epson "Throw the printer away" strategy a couple of years ago.

If you ever find a Canon that takes a BC-02, BC-05 BC-20 or BC-21 cartridge, cherish it. Their by far the easiest cartridges to refill, reuse and maintain.

HP wise, after the deskjet 900 series they pretty much went into disposable mode. my 15+ year old 560c still works, and I've given 500 and 520 B/W deskjets to friends of mine that still print away. The only problem is finding cartridges for them. Especially the 500 series color carts.
Mine's a Shuttle SN41G2 Athlon XP system with 1GB of ram and a 6800gt.

I would want to stay away from the grunts. They would not be not to fun to play with.

"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
