I'm going to laser my eyes out after seeing those horrid designs.
If it walks like a tablet, quacks like a tablet...

...it's a phone.
@southern78

For argument's sake, sure, they both suck. But I think we all pretty much know in the back of our minds that AT&T sucks a little more.
As mentioned, the Vostro line is promoted for business and professional use. Most probably would get on just fine with the Celeron processor.
This is an interesting approach to automotive UIs. Like others, I don't see the practicality of this. In a car, you want to keep all focus on the road, not on making sure you got a mouse gesture right. This seems tedious. The touchscreen/voice command combo I used recently in a Lexus worked pretty well.
@DefPoet I think they are doing the former. I admit to trying to vote just twice and it didn't let me.
As of now, Boing Boing and Lifehacker are edging you out Engadget (and my vote did nothing to help your situation, sorry!)
At least they are being proactive. I mean when is the last time anyone has bought an actual magazine?
Agreed. What would be even more interesting is if Palm delved into producing a mobile/netbook OS.
@Josh

I hear that argument all the time, but how exactly is allowing users to install OS X on an HP going to hurt Apple? People who want a Mac are still going to get a Mac for everything else they represent in terms of design, status, etc. If Apple opened up OS X, they would rake in the dough in software sales, on top of hardware sales.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
