I've seen large companies try to migrate from Lotus Notes (for no other reason than the 'grass is greener' philosophy), and I don't think I've seen it completed for any type of costs savings.
As the earlier poster pointed out..this is email only. Lotus Notes is database centric..with Mail just being one of those apps. If you just migrate mail you are left with your apps still in notes...and no proper integration between them. Most likely you end up still paying for the Lotus Notes licenses so your DB's can still be accessed, in addition to the additional licensing for your new mail platform.

And Tivo just added CinemaNow (Disney Movies) downloads to all broadband enabled Tivo's.

FYI: Just because Cobian Backup is no longer opensource, doesn't mean the newest version still isn't free. (It is)

"Plus a lot of people don't understand football games - hence they buy Fifa"
Yeah..really sounds impartial.

I haven't found a good football game since 2006 Fifa World Cup. Hoping there's one in 2009.
Kind of a vague posting to appear on Engadget.
As others have said, there was a scheduled Maintenance on the RIM servers..so unclear whether Engadget is referring to users having issues during this period or after...whether BIS or BES.

I have to agree with Marc.
This widescreen tag is a thing that rings a bell in consumers minds when they see the feature listed...but really, not much advantage. Just take a large screen, take off the top inch...tada widescreen.
I have a Windows Mobile phone running iGo (a bit better than tomtom imho)..it allows sideways display....same kind of result.
Can people play games from the HDDVD drive?
If so, is it quieter than the built-in dvd drive?
Which store is the WRT350N available?
Can't find it online available anywhere.
Hmm...recall seeing this picture several months ago.
flamer's grill:
So Orb supports the Treo700P ? Orb doesn't support any Palm OS device for video streaming.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
