Not sure how widely this was known, but he also ran an old-school dial up Commodore BBS back in the day in the Detroit area under the same name, of which I was a member. :)

Good to see a local kid that did well. Good for you, Brad.
Simstim. William Gibson detailed this technology in Neuromancer years before this movie..
Considering my wife is leaving me and taking most of the gear, I could really use this :)
Woot, need a new KB and mouse :)
You almost had an iPhone convert until they brought out that tool from Sprint.
Usually the no-penalty means you're returning the device, so, you don't gain anything that way.
Installed it, and I've been watching videos on my 360 for the last 3 hours. I love it. I hope the project continues and I'll happily pay for a more feature-rich version.
Congrats, as a father myself, I know how hard it is to grind out Daughter faction, I've heard to get Exalted you have to buy them a car for a graduation present.

Dir En Grey plz. I would so pay for Child Prey. Or Moi Dix Mois. Or Psycho Le Cemu. Or.. well. yeah. Anything JRock.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
