You are clearly not playing the game properly. Due to the vast country side this is one of the only games where you can truly put some tactical awareness into play. For example, on the airport hit, instead of driving your car in, guns blazing, how about sneaking up on the sniper post? Then stealing his weapon to pick off the surrounding guards. And if you feel like it, you can hit the gas tank and cause a brush fire that surrounds the hanger so the guy doesn't escape while you make your way there for the kill. Rinse and repeat gameplay my ass. This is one of the rare games that I have played where the more thought I put into my plan of attack, the more satisfied I am with the results. I love the Rainbow Six Vegas games, but their feigned tactical approaches are weak compared to the options this game allows. Maybe you should try playing it again (and thinking a bit this time).
This does not come as much of a surprise. It has been known for quite some time that the Body Mass Index is skewed and provides inaccurate assessments of weight. For example, I am approximately 6'0" and 175lbs. by this standard it would state I am borderline average (on the high end of the scale). However, my body fat percentage is approximately 12% and I run 4 miles a day (and eat less than 20g of fat a day and less than 2400 calories a day) – case in point, I am rather conscious and active regarding health practices yet still “borderline average”. This is compounded in females, whose bodies are naturally comprised of more fat (and are typically shorter than males). Thus the BMI in many ways perpetuates unrealistic expectations for women regarding body size, and is not reflective of the appropriate or “healthy” weight women should aspire towards. I understand that this is a standardized style of measurement, but it is unfortunate that Nintendo opted to use the BMI for assessment purposes. Look forward to hearing more stories like this one in the near future.
Really they respond to the community?
Tell that to the 239 page thread on the playstation boards requesting 1080i output for all games.
So much for HD gaming starts when we say so eh?
Half the time I want to chuck my oversized bluray player (PS3) because the games barely hold up in 480p.
Please do not respond by telling tell me to get a new TV, I hate that when Sony fanboys assuming its your problem because Sony products don't work properly.
JJ I agree. I would love to see Sony pull a live type service together and for free. I hope that in the coming years they can get a solid direction and make it work. Realistically though, I can not see them even competing with iTunes (I don't even use iTunes). I just find that Sony is full of overly ambitious claims and they tend to under-deliver. I have learned to not get too excited. Personally, I would much rather Sony get all their games scaling to 1080i. That would make my holidays... as opposed to vague promises and terrible support. I like my ps3 -- I am becoming more and more disheartened by Sony as a company.

PS AK you are an idiot and validate my claim regarding blind Sony followers. You are whats wrong with Sony, they have customers who are unwilling to admit problems and so they never deal with the problems. Grow up.
Sony is so funny.
They have already tried to compete with iTunes and failed miserably. I still have nightmares of their "Connect" software (from my nwhd3). They put a little bit of tidbits out there about an iTunes alternative and all the people on this site piss themselves. I am sorry, I have been a frequenter of this site for some time and I must say all of the responses are from brainwashed, will die before they admit Sony has ever erred turds (well not all of you). Please think critically here -- the likelihood of Sony creating a viable alternative to iTunes is like Sony creating a viable alternative to Live (in other words its just not going to happen any time soon -- if ever!). Now before you get defensive and say I am just an xbox fanboy, please note. I own all three systems (albiet I don't have much time to play them) and I have numerous games for each. I am telling you from an UNBIASED perspective, not to hold your breath here ... you will be disappointed. Oh and please refrain from comments in the same vein as "Sony is right because they are Sony". It really damages your cause.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news (or good news depending on your perspective), but this is an old story that has already been shot down by Asus. Why won't stupid internet rumors die? Seriously?
Asus had originally talked about a 10inch version, then scrapped it. Then we have a German website post details (likely based on the old project), then the forums light up with conjecture, then it filters to other sites (engadget). Then it gets falsified by the company... see link.

Personally I think that this is a genius move by Microsoft. This is an apparent next step in computer technology. Unfortunately, some individuals are simply too narrow to see the real world applications (see above). As opposed to using this to "gauge" what the consumer wants, it could be used as a method to control and interact with the user interface. Such methods of control are already in place in some psychotherapy procedures where clients "play" a game with their mind (via EEG decreasing beta wave activity). The game requires the client to increase specific neural patterns to perform a task (i.e. fly an airplane). Now if Microsoft did their homework and could make logical transitions from mental state and user interface interaction, then it may be possible to forgo the use of a mouse, for a much more efficient navigation tool -- your mind. Now this may be the realm of science fiction, but honestly if done right -- I don't see how this would not be a remarkable improvement to user interfaces (ethical concerns aside -- like a company gaining access to your "brain habits" as opposed to your browsing habits).
Without you 360fanboy my life would be meaningless. I love you.
Maybe they are just waiting until enough people have a PS3 that it will be profitable to have the game as an exclusive. 2009 sounds about right...
Been using my cell phone as watch for years. So this would definitely be a nice step up.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
