Their first touch screen smartphone to be relased to the market was the 7710 (Series 90 over Symbian 7.0) back in 2004. Nokia wasn't going touch screen because of UIQ which was also based on Symbian. How does the iPhone actually owns Symbian ? Because sales certainly don't back this up.
The Nokia 7710 was a Symbian based, Series 90 smartphone. The phone featured in The Matrix was the 8110, which, didn't have a WAP browser, that was the 7110. Which goes to show you how familiar U.S. Americans are with Nokia.
@Canis_Minor

It's called video calling and all 3g networks (at least in Europe) support it. I use it quite frequently cause where I am it doesn't cost more than the regular voice call.
I don't think he was given the N95, he had it on the X-Factor (along with Louis Walsh's E90) as well as Britain's Got Talent. It might actually be his own phone.
That stylus is for handwriting recognition and for the mini keyboard. It has been known all along that S60 5th will be optimized for finger usage. This is not an iPhone competitor people, ever since nokia discontinued Series90, they have been working on merging it with S60.
Have you ever actually used it maybe ? The fact that it has the biggest share of the market should ring a bell as to how crappy it is.
"S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1" ????

No, that's Feature Pack 2, you can even see it on that picture.
It helps knowing that this car as well as the C1 and the Aygo were built on the joint PSA/Toyota factory in Czech Republic and not just by Toyota it self
Actually, i think ericsson is the world leader in the gsm networks at least, lets not forget about alcatel/thomson, packard bell and philips as well
It sure does, then again, the new mondeo back looks a lot like the peugeot 607
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
