Yes.. it IS awesome. You have the freedom to do whatever the hell you want. If you want to be an actor and get paid millions, GO DO IT and quit whining about it. Just because you work at Taco bell, don't knock the people who take chances and the country that allows that kind of success.... douchebag.
No no no... this is all wrong. No teleprompters, he's not bowing to saudi kings, and you can't see Nancy Pelosi behind him pulling his puppet strings like in real life! Disney needs to start over.
I understand your gripe about MMS.. hell.. it pisses me off too, but I have to say that while you can record video on a 1st gen JB iPhone, the quality sucks. I wouldn't have enabled that as a feature either if I was Apple.
Now THAT's just funny. ;)
you even look at the pics? Its not his "fly", it's his jacket. sheesh..
An all electric car is worthless. I freak out when my phone has to sit on the charger if it needs to be charged in the middle of the day. Imagine if I couldn't go BACK out after work or whatever because my car had to charge! F.. THAT!!! Give me a full size luxury American hybrid.
I am so sick of these stupid "will it blend?" videos, right along with those morons who smash stuff. Why is this entertaining at all? Good lord.... can't people think of better things to do or better ways to advertise?
First thing... enough with the "slow news day" crap. Your Holier than thou attitude just because you dont care about the article is quite annoying.

Secondly.. Jason... what drm? You mean the drm imposed by the music labels? which by the way... is quite transparent if you use iPods mainly (which if you're buying from iTunes.. well.. duh) and/or burning an audio cd. I guess you could always buy the physical cd and ya know.. bypass any drm. Just a thought.

Also, what substandard hardware are you speaking of? I've owned 3 mac laptops, and 2 desktops. I've only had one issue with my "macbook" that Apple took care of immediately. The rest have been insanely reliable and yes... they DO look damn sexy. My new MacBook Pro is amazing both in appearance and operation. It also gets quite a bit of attention at the local coffee shop. I've passed on my old G3 Blue and White Powermac to my mother and has been working reliably for just about 10 years now. And last, but certainly not least, the iPhone has some of the highest ratings in customer satisfaction, and hardware reliability, which is amazing for a company that just entered the wireless phone market.

If you dont like Apple thats fine.. but you're arguments hold no water. Ohh.. and Merry Christmas!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
