$30,000. My financial advisor told me that, his name is Wes, he's saved me sooo much money.
Pffffffft. Windows fanboy.
Phil, seriously, you're basing your experience from Orlando coverage. I understand the coverage there is not all that great but all of Florida is not that bad with Verizon. South Flo. has very good reception. Also, I personally didnt know the 3G speed wasnt as high as ATT until I read Gizmodo today, but I do know that my friends who have the Jesusphone dont get enough reception to take advantage of this amazing speed. I live in the northeast and at the end of the day I get damn good reception leaps and bounds ahead of ATT, Sprint, or T-Mobile.

Oh and yeah I have the storm, I'll be honest I thought about returning it before the update, but its ok now and if they make it just a little snappier, I'll feel much better about my purchase. It isnt as bad as Engadget says.
ESS-TOE-KNEE-AHHH?
Wow guys thanks for not answering my question. As if I really needed to go into it, the reason I got a MacBook Pro was because my parents helped me foot the bill on half of it (no matter which one I chose) and seeing as how I needed the screen space and personal preference of a mac over pc since I hope to be a graphic designer it made sense over the regular MacBook. I wont be getting a computer every year like some of you so I wanted the best I could get since my current comp is 4 and a half years old. The difference I payed was $250 or so dollars more than if I would have gotten the regular MacBook. Anyway, as far as struggling goes I'm not dying I have a good job and I'm getting paid decent but I'm not flourishing. So maybe struggling was the wrong word, but struggling can have a variety of meanings to different people. Anyway I still have a little extra at the end of the month to save, I just wanted to know (and still do) if anyone knows whether I could get that discount stacked on top of my student discount.
*black friday discount goodness added on to the student discount*
I bought my macbook pro last week with the student discount....you guys think it could be possible to still get some of that black friday goodness added on?...I really am a student and kinda struggling...
You know...it's not so much that I want an iphone killer as much as I just want the iphone on Verizon. Talk about dropping the ball. And yeah I know why they didnt do it, but if given a chance to do history over Verizon would accept Apple's deal faster than you can say "Can you hear me now?". You know why? Because they wouldn't lose anything from that deal, they're just greedy (as is Apple, c'mon now seriously), could you imagine how many subscribers this phone would have brought to Verizon?!?!

"Now America's Most Reliable Network, Thinks Different"...

Oh well, here's to 2010 and hope...
I didn't know I cared so much about what Engadget thinks...I'm actually a little bummed. *pumps fist in air*----"WILL THERE NEVER BE AN IPHONE KILLER!!!?!?!?!?!? WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?"
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"My father-in-law is heading back to school in the spring and wants a laptop for Christmas. The only catch is their budget is around $400 and he does not want a netbook. He's not very "tech savvy" at all and doesn't need a hoss of a machine (not that $400 could get you one). We would like to get it for him as soon as possible and would love some input."
