Thrown Away - VAST
Hey #2 don't knock it quite yet as they will also be releasing the shell to go over top the controller, (I'm hoping it releases with personally) allowing games like Super Smash Brothers to be played. Also check out some of the videos on it. I saw some of the stuff you did with red steel... holy crap! Its not you simply swing and the sword swings with... it seems you have complete and utter control of your blade in a very realtime setting. In other words... its hot!
Sony is doing the same as microsoft, in there design of the PS3 what with the two different versions.

The only problem I see with creating a blu-ray drive, is what if neither of the formats actually succeed. Sony right now is making a very expensive gamble assuming that plain ol' DVDs will be replaced relatively soon. And although there drive is out there, what might just happen is the lack of support for it early on, and it could easily become a dead format, as many people might find the idea of buying a game system to be kinda much to play a format.

But again, it's whatever, they can remove features, add features, and do a whole lot of other stuff, it will still sell, at least initially. I'll be anxious to see what kind of crap the analysts think up on who will win the console war.
I only have one problem with these cakes... they're all to nice looking to eat, but probably too delicious to let waste. Oh the pain in deciding!!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
