It doesn't support capture over the inputs. They exist so that you can turn the PC off and use it as a TV.

Finished product. Work completed over a month ago. They've begun engineering the 1Q10 lineup.
The replacement for the VGN-TT will be called the VPC-X.
The touchscreen model is designated the VPC-L series and is the successor to the LV all-in-one series.
Oh, and the US version of the P will only have the Z540 as tops for now.
The P series isn't a netbook because the netbook is coming out later this year.
Sony will be offering a Win 7 upgrade kit (free or cheap, can't remember) to all customers who purchase a VAIO between 6/26/09 and 1/31/10. All other customers will be eligible for a companion DVD with drivers, etc...
General availability is (last I heard) slated for the first couple weeks in October.
Last I heard, they were looking at a release in October.
It's not that early. Sony's planning to replace Vista with Win 7 for their fall lineup.
