I think Natal is a cool concept, but it still needs work. I'm also curious about how well it can tell the difference between me and the floor lamp in my living room. I don't have enough space to dedicate a "Natal area" and I think that's going to be the bane of this technology.
I've seen this demonstrated on TV, and I think it's an interesting concept. Unfortunately there is no visual element to it's operation so it could all be fake for all I know. I'd like to witness one in person (even if it means getting 'shot' with it), just to see how effective it is.
Tesla is the last company that needs a government loan. Building more toys for people that don't need them. If they were working to develop an all-electric car that was PRACTICAL then maybe, but the Tesla is far too expensive to affect the kind of economic and environmental changes that the Obama administration is trying to achieve.
It kind of sounded like the keyboard would have been left exposed, and I was concerned that would end up causing issues. I'm broke so it doesn't really matter, but I'm still curious.
I'm not really up to speed on the netbook scene, so this might be a noob question... Can you reverse the screen and still fold it all the way flat? Like a closed notebook, but with the screen on the outside?
