Aug 1st 2008 1:26AM I'm tired of all these 'oh so expensive', 'need a mortgage' kind of posts on these cameras. These are built for real full-time commercial professionals, and not people who shoot weddings on just weekends with their 40D to supplement their regular job.
These are meant for businesses that, with equipment that works better or makes things easier, saves them invaluable time. That alone is worth the cost of the equipment for many. Like a comment above me, images with these things go on billboards.

Jul 16th 2008 4:53PM Heck! This even tops their own 14.6 MP CMOS sensor (APS-C). Results of it shows that it is slightly more noisy than the competition, but TONS less noise reduction (Pentax's choice?) so there's still a lot of detail left for post-processing. That means with equal amount of NR it can slightly edge out the other semi-pros. That was an achievement.
This? I'm terrified to look at the ISO 3200 pictures.
