Think hoping to deliver web-enabled electric car {Engadget}

Jul 31st 2007 11:57AM I Think it's important to get a few facts right. From what I've read the THINK is a properly homologated car, with air bags, crumple zones, abs and all that stuff. Plus it has a vastly superior rang to Riva and the others plus it can go at Highway speeds.
A for the carbon tuff. An electric car is 88% efficient as compared to a petrol car which is only 28% efficient and yes we are just moving the carbon from the exhausts of cars to power stations but if it's all in one place then there is a much better chance of us to control it ( with carbon scrubbers and such)
I really want EV's to have a fare fight, and if we get behind little cars like think then maybe the big car companies will think about changing the way they make cars!
