Jul 9th 2008 10:14AM "No one in China will buy a Japanese car, end of story."
Un/fortunately, this statement is completely untrue. There are plenty of Japanese cars running around in China. And if you live in the U.S., follow a Chinese family out to the grocery store parking lot and I will bet you my boat (if I had one) that they'll be loading into a Japanese car. Almost no exceptions.
If all Chinese boycotted all Japanese products, dozens of Japanese companies will tank in a matter a months. Chinese people do NOT remember history very well, it seems.
