you are crazy to think any conventional ICE can get 63% THERMAL efficiency. It's just not possible without some expensive cogeneration or something along those lines. You throw out 30% alone just from exhausting the hot CO2.

a series hybrid can do a complete drive cycle with EV only. Most plug-in hybrids (prius will be this way) can only keep the engine off until a certain mph (42 mph in the prius' case)

you're actually wrong....electric motors have 100% torque at 0 speed. The torque actually starts falling off after a certain RPM is reached

You are very uninformed. GM's 2mode technology is licensed TO BMW. Not FROM. Their hybrid platform was completely designed in-house and licensed to BMW and Chrysler.

unmanned copters that can spot out enemies and distinguish them from friendly targets? Ew, this reminds me of Half Life 2 with those flying camera bots.

"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
