Or you could you OpenStreetMaps (http://www.openstreetmaps.org) and add a tag into the bridge, like "maxton=3" or "maxheight=5" or whatever, and you incorporate that info into your sat nav. That's the beauty of having this open database, only if more people would start using it (manufacturers also)...
Wind moves faster as you go higher ?
Actually, your laptop has a step-up circuit already, so it can be powered by current 3.7V Li-Ion cells. The same circuit could be applied to this 2.4 volts to generate you the 19V you need. No need for a 2kg/4.4lb battery.
Isn't it just better to get a FIC Neo 1973 when it comes out in december ? It'll have a VGA touchscreen, wifi, AGPS, 400MHz ARM processor, 256MB of flash, linux and it's a phone too, for around US$ 400, isn't it ? It also says in the site that you can use 3xAA NiMH to power it...
Isn't it easier to use Solar parabolic collectors and stirling engines to create energy using parabolic dishes or solar power towers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_One) or one of the newest (though more expensive) solar cells which are capable of 42% efficiency (on the planet's surface, let alone in space, since we lose some solar power due to the atmosphere) ?

Just a thought...
Actually, you can use an SDHC card in Palm's Treo 680. I have a 8GB SDHC card on mine and it works great. Make sure to get a Transcend Class 6 (6MB/s if I'm not mistaken) card though, there were reports of cards from other brands dying after a couple months. Still cheaper to get 2 8GB cards at $ 89 each than one 16GB at $350 though...
Sorry, just looking at another post about A123 (the battery manufacturers), those are the actual batteries. Cool. But they look a lot like supercaps, tho.
Actually those are super capacitors, but I guess you were just making fun of their shape anyway
No, the simple fact of the spark created by pushing the power button on a flashlight would suffice to ignite the pure oxygen and anesthetics used in an Operating Room.

The flashlight would not actually explode, but the simple fact of turning it on could potentially ignite the atmosphere in the room.

"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
