Seems to me that 4 scroll wheels would be ideal.
One scroll wheel that scrolls up, another that scrolls down, another that scrolls left, and another that scrolls right! It's brilliant!
I'm typing this from a PPC Mac that Apple's latest OS can't be installed on, regardless if I backup my data and format the disc. (I'm sure other's have made this point before me, but I don't feel like wading through 400+ comments just to avoid making a redundant comment. lol)
You're right. Vista, for all its annoyances, didn't delete any user files, let alone ALL of them.
We don't have 57 states, but there are 57 contests in the primary. The candidate had a simple brain freeze due to sleep deprivation on the campaign trail. lol

Oh, the 57 primary contests are: 50 states, DC, Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Virgin Islands, Democrats Abroad, Texas caucus (a separate, yet binding, contest from Texas primary). People on the campaign had 57 seared into their mind from looking at spreadsheets showing 57 contests.
Apple fanboys are funny. So smug, yet so insecure.
So I guess they're still available from retail outlets but not from Microsoft itself. Except for the Zune 8, which is indeed available from Microsoft, but via store.microsoft.com rather than zunestore.net.

Some interesting things I noticed at http://www.zune.net/en-US/mp3players/default.htm
If you click the "Shop online" link for each model, you're given a choice of online retailers. I noticed that some K-Mart and Amazon are totally ripping people off.
MSRP for Zune 4 is $100, but K-Mart sells it for $150.
MSRP for Zune 16 is $180, but Amazon sells it for $330.
MSRP for Zune 80 is $230, but Amazon sells it for $368.
MSRP for Zune 120 is $250, but Amazon sells it for $350.

If you click the "Buy Now" link for each model, then for Zune 4 and Zune 16, you're given the same list of onine retailers that the "Shop online" links give you, but for the rest of the models, you jump to a page where you can buy it from Microsoft directly.
Clicking "Buy now" for Zune 8 takes you to store.microsoft.com for your purchase.
Clicking "Buy now" for Zune 80 takes you to zunestore.net for your purchase.
Clicking "Buy now" for Zune 120 is broken. It goes to zunestore.net, but you get a "This model no longer available" message. But you can buy a Zune 120 from zunestore.net if you go to zunestore.net directly (rather than through the "Buy now" link at zune.net).
I've never seen a company so smug, yet so insecure as Apple. Clearly, Apple is scared of Windows 7.

One more thing:
This is supposed to be a "Developer's" conference, not "Mac World", right? At Micrososft's developers conferences, they never mention Apple or any "competitor", and display info for actual developers (new API, on-stage demos of new functionality, including stepping through new features with debuggers, etc). I would say that Apple needs to grow up, but they're doing just fine milking their fanbase, so their schtick works, sadly.
There's a simple way to fix the "flaws" engadget cites for the Touchsmart. Simply apply an Apple decal, and all the flaws will vanish (or, at least not be noticeable by engadget staff).
Oh please. Bill Gates isn't trying to be your precious Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs could never be in commercials like these because is ego is too big for him to laugh at himself, let alone appear in a setting where others are invited to laugh at him.
It's sour grapes (as I explain below).

Because Apple fanboys, for all their smug arrogance, are actually quite insecure and humorlous (except for that Dennis Miller style, "I'm smarter/cooler/better than you, so screw off" type of humor). If Apple had put out these Seinfeld ads, these Apple fanboys would be saying how brilliant the ads are; but they just can't stand to see something cool or funny that isn't about Apple, so they declare the ads to suck, just like the fox declared unattainable grapes to be sour.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
