I hope the game will be region code free so we Europeans don't get f'd in the a again... but I guess chances are slim. I'd just like to buy the game and use the old gear. Don't want to spend big cash again since the old stuff's supposed to work with the new game.
most people can't even use 1080p to it's full potential because of too small screen size or too high viewing distance, so please: why the hell would we need such ultra-high resolution displays at home. you could sit like 6 feet away from a 50" 1080p setup, using the resolution to its max... personally I know noone who does that...
Isn't Apples App Store just the official version of the Installer App? So who's imitating who?
hahaha! good one. kudos to you, sir...
maybe iphone is too advanced to support rip-off services like SMS an MMS and gives you the full power auf the WWW and email...

but I guess your right... that's lame ;)
hahaha...

now THAT was funny as hell!!!
THAT'S how it is... correct. could read the same on spiegel.de this morning.
the problem is not us, it's the studios! THEY want region coding. i'm german and i LOVE hd-dvd for being codefree, but watching movies in original versions is pretty common over here in germany.

and some studios are already holding back the hd-dvd-realease FOR MONTHS while releasing the bluray several months in advance...just because of region coding.

sucks...
obviously because he didn't say somehting foolish this time around. saying the truth should not be punished. ;)

oh, i can see the BD fanbois running towards me already...
same here: HD ist NOT just MS. interesting link for you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HD-DVD.

the last thing the customer needs is an HD market with overpriced players and media...IMO.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
