I was playing with a slate type device, and I just imagine it like a very large touch screen phone that has better specs. I'm sure in the future I'd like one of these...and I'd get used to it.
I was about to buy an HP because it looked decent, and then I used the track pad and it was too hard to use.
First, it creates finger print smudges every time you use it, making you want to wipe it off each time. It's either that, or people will think you're using a dirty computer.
Second, it hurt my finger. I tried moving across it really fast, and it gives me a finger burn. I think I'll pay a little bit more and go to Sony. Their trackpad is smooth and responsive.
This is how all docking station SHOULD BE!!! Not just extra ports that are connected to a printer already. That's only for the lazy and hates to connect things over and over again. It should be useful, like the extra graphics or maybe a small drive and extended memory should be placed in it. I hope this idea can trickle to other companies. At least make a dock where a user might be able to add anything they want in it...like how people do for desktops when they want to upgrade.
That would be perfect for filling stations!!! No more gas being pumped into my car, but instead... charged electrolytes!!!! I hope it doesn't weight as much as a lithium battery though. It'd be nice to get this battery in a small device, lets say a cell phone, and not have it take up much space.
If it's light enough, it'll increase the torque and distance on electric vehicles. I see a strong future with this...and a better one if the USA develps this tech and gets a world patent. (If such thing exists; though China would follow the rules anyways)
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"

I just bought the Samsung Highlight and they did a pretty good job on that one.
