Space matters in digital cameras. The more room you have for optics and sensors, the better quality you can get. I'm hoping that as the other parts of phones get smaller, manufacturers start giving the cameras more space inside the cell phone housing for better optics and bigger sensors.
@N900 I think it depends on the computer. If you have an SD slot and your BIOS supports booting from an SD card, it should work. A USB adapter might be treated like a flash drive, or it might not, hard to say.
So the article about Orange getting the iPhone in France says it's being sold unsubsidized. Does this mean that there is no longer anyone offering a subsidized iPhone in France? Or just a smaller subsidy than before? Or no change?

I would love to see the iPhone available on multiple carriers in the US but it would suck if it lead to prices going up significantly.
With 360 HP and a giant rear spoiler, I'm guessing they converted it to RWD.
AT&T: A 3G network so good, we had to sue Verizon for making factual statements about it.
It is not in Apple's best interest to sell OS X as a standalone product. They use their software sell hardware. Selling OS X for PCs would cause them to lose some hardware sales. Even if selling OS X as a standalone only lost them one hardware sale for every 20 new OS sales, it would probably still reduce their profits.
Unfortunately, if something is not specifically listed as Mac compatible, that's generally enough reason to assume it's not Mac compatible.
There are a few, but none with very good reviews. This seems to be the best one:

Probably not Mac compatible.
If you have an iPod touch or an iPhone, you can get any one of several wireless trackpad apps on the app store. Some even have multi-touch support.

Here's one that gives you both multi-touch and accelerometer control: http://ax.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=289616509&mt=8

There are a bunch of others, just search for "trackpad" in the App Store
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
