Who care's. The 2 circuit cities by me wean't out of business before christmas.

They marked everything up to MSRP and then started taking discounts. It was about 70% of buy the time you actually could by things in store cheaper than the internet.

I was looking for a 32inch Flat screen for my bedroom so kept stopping by. Ended up buying one from Best Buy because it was cheaper even after Circuit city had them 60% off. ( They'd sold out by the time they hit 70% off )

I just feel sorry for all the Lemmings who walked in and bought stuff just because they saw the sale sign. I don't feel sorry that they got ripped off, I feel sorry for them that they're that dumb.
I get comcast for football season and then turn it off once it's over.

I just don't watch anything else. If I want to see it I wait for it to come out on DVD and get it on Netflix.

Didn't you hear, the politicians want to change that.

They're proposing moving the trucks over this year and the cars over next
Unfortunately It would cost more than that.

Everyone's forgetting about what it'll cost to get the power to the homes.

Lets say a community decides to purchase one. They'd either have to lease the copper wires from the local power company or put in their own. Then you'd have to either hire maintenance crews or sign a deal with the local power supplier to provide the maintenance. Also unless you just wanted to split the bill evenly, you'd have to hire people to read the meters, .....

Not sure how much all this would add. .
At least you'll be able to respond when your wife/gf says. "Get your head out of your ass", "It's not there I just looked" :)
Dances with wolves, Saving Private Ryan, Star Wars, LOTR, Boogie Nights ( to see Heather Graham naked in HD ), Star Trek: Wrath of Khan, Band of Brothers, Battle beyond the stars
Fusion is decades away from usability, most of it is still theoretical.
Fusion is a long way off. Most estimates I've heard are 50+ years before we can safely contain a reaction big enough to generate enough power to be useful.

Though I agree that fusion is a long term goal, we should concentrate more on solutions we can achieve more quickly such as solar, wind and fission reactors

But can it cook popcorn from orbit?
What's really funny is still seeing you on here raving about this stuff. Then realizing you're still searching the internet for articles, just so that maybe you can come back with a "I told you so" post.

I sure hope you're being paid for this, because if you're not you must have one pathetic life.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
