With HOME sony is trying to bring the sims element into the PS3.
also for those that dont know... MS Charges you for live; SONY DOES NoT. How can you expect something that is basically free to have the same standards as something that cost your parents 50 bones?!? in 4 years thats $200 on top of your parents ISP.

Jul 23rd 2008 2:41PM Well if you look at animal crossing it has a history of selling well to the masses. and now that every tween has a DS its easier to get into. So it would make alot of sense to release it on the wii MORE MONEY for them.
I'm sure everyone already knows that Nintendo doesnt need its core gamers to make a buck anymore. All their games are so easy to pick up and play everyone is welcome, from ages 6 to 89.
Also everything they release is quickly gobbled up..... so why not put as little effort as possible into a minigame collection as opposed to a platformer that takes alot of time and reasources to cook up.

My girlfriend bought it. i sat as the second wii-mote pointing at starbits. (LAME) watched her gather up enough stars to power up the ship/ or whatever you were on. and she just stopped. never picked it up again. and paper mario got about 30 mins. of play.

I'm not saying anything anymore about the console war. Nintendo was against the ropes last gen. Sony faceplanted out of the gate. and microsoft is just plain money hungry. they all have their ups and downs.
