This is expected to cause GM sales to Nigeria to increase by at least 2000%.
Sell Volvo to the Chinese? Isn't that like the Romans salting Carthage before leaving it?..
Also, whatever happened to the shark fin? :-)
With such a wide front wing, you'd expect to see a whole lot more wing-to-tire contact and thus a whole lot more accidents, especially early in the season.
I saw the convertible 'Vette advertised at Hertz as well when I went to Boston last week.

I didn't rent that, but with a non-specific reservation and my Hertz Gold card I ended up with a Hummer H3. Not a great car to drive around the Boston area, I must say. Next time something like this comes up I'll just march back into the office and ask for something a little more sensible...
Apparently this car's designer took pictures of the Merc CLS and used tracing paper to produce this car.
It's a car for China, where Buick is a popular upscale brand. As far as I could tell when I was there Buick seems to be the most popular North American brand there. So, don't think of how it fits in the North American brand lineup because it doesn't make a lot of sense there.
I have to agree with the "purpose built" principle. If you want a good off-roader that's comfortable and able to handle just about everything you can throw at it, you should definitely buy a Range Rover. If you want to bling out while cruising along a paved road, well, there's always the Hummer...
Cerberus is a three-headed hound that guards the gates of hell, but it's a pretty dumb dog and easily fooled by a long-dead poet with a couple of handfuls of dirt. That says as much about Cerberus as one needs to know, really.
It's a lovely car, not that I'd buy one even if I had the money, but it's very beautiful nonetheless.

Why did they make the rear window so small, though?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
