I'd say, "YAY Canada!"...but the CRIA terrorized Demonoid into banning Canadian users...

WTF!
Three things that the Zune does that at last the iPod doesn't:

1. WIRELESSLY sinc.
2. Support of the competitor's codec (which is hardly a good one...)
3. Has the freaking screen set up in the right direction. The iPod Touch might have it right now, but come on, did it take 6.5 generations to figure out wide screen should run DOWN the device?

Let's not get into a petty argument over the Apple codec either...if an MP3 can encode at a higher quality than the codec, it isn't good, and certainly not necessary!
The cash incentive that's so relatively low in relation to space ventures seems to imply that Google wants someone to do it at a fraction of the cost that has been done in the past. If someone can develop a rover cheap and efficient, then Google can attempt to buy it and pursue Google Moon more ambitiously...that said, I don't really see why any company would be so crazed on spending so much money on a project like Google Moon...
Wowwee~!
SWAG BAG!@!!
SWAG BAG!!!
A limited edition Vista? Is it different somehow?
@Will: How about a $700 CD player?
Ummm...160 GB isn't 40k good quality tracks. At best, if you're using a variety of decent (not even lossless) encodings, you're looking at 20k, tops. I have just over 21k songs on this computer, and it runs up to 130 GB. Sure, if you're going to through the pathetic tripe that Apple spews out of its store onto your iPod, exclusively, then you might get 40k, but anything you rip yourself should be a much larger file size, and a much higher quality.
Did they really need a whole web-site for this stuff? Whatever happened to just starting a blog? It'd at least be easy to navigate, and could have a more interesting layout.

I personally love AMD, but product loyalty in the technology market doesn't make sense. I can't wait to see what they're going to do with ATI integration, but they're going to have to actually finish doing that before I can buy another product of theirs again.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
