Hmm...so your "phone and network" can be on a call while doing 1 application at a time? what can my phone and network do? how about be on a phone call and get turn by turn navigation at the same time. Or run apps in the background while doing any number of other things and not losing my place or having to save something just because i dont want to lose any changes i made because of a thing called multi-tasking. etc etc
@ravissimo actually verizon is no 1 in many things: customers, 3g coverage, cellular coverage + roaming agreements, and ARPU AT&T is there only real competition...but only because of the iPhone
Aww..poor AT&T...trying so hard to counter the TRUTH that Verizon talked about in the commercials. Faster speeds are great accept when you can only access those faster speeds in very few areas, and to also point out the "faster" speeds are barely noticeable. Its also really easy to hit 100k apps on "1" phone when you have 10 "ifart" apps or 20 calculator apps. And the point about more popular smartphones...hmm last i checked more businesses actually have accounts with VZW than AT&T when it comes to smartphones, especially Blackberries and Windows Mobile, and Data Cards. My vote is for VZW...they are just upset that someone finally stuck it to them with the all the ranting they do about the iPhone---awesome device but on craptastic network...the iPhone is the only reason that AT&T is still on the map IMO
Ah yes...we dropped the creepy lady, and dove right into the chipmunks doing some acid tripping techno house music while spinning around. Excuse me while i go throw-up. On a side note this commercial is better
no sorry...there isnt a phone out there for you. Maybe instead of posting 'tard comments in reply to people that actually have some good points to add to discussion because they have knowledge or useful input about a topic you could contribute in more positive terms.
Android 2.0 owns. Finally some competition for the iPhone. This device looks promising, will have to see how the build quality holds up. The only complaint I have so far after actually using the device is the weight, but with keeping in mind the high quality feeling of the all metal enclosure + keyboard + large screen, I cannot say the weight isn't justified. Google is becoming a titan in the wireless/information world...it only will get better. The apps are for the most part is quality over quantity (not 10 different versions of a calculator application). And with now more android devices coming out for multiple carriers while the iDont just sits alone with AT&T its only a matter of time before we have mobile domination. This OS is Google's own "1984". Seems people aren't talking about the iPhone so much anymore are they. FTW
Having played with the device....its really sweet. Feels alot better than the Storm 1. The touch-click is right-on and overall the device is smooth. Touch-click is very well made this time around. Much more responsive. OS 5.0 is awesome!. Slimmer profile. Wi-Fi (you realize how much of a milestone this is for VZW to finally offer a BB with wi-fi?!. This is nothing like the storm 1 so don't compare it to that monstrosity (however on a side-note OS 5.0 even makes the Storm 1 alot better....go into your local VZW store and play with it, right away if you have ever used a the first Storm you will notice a big differance. This will do very well....2 bad no one is interested in it because of how much the Storm 1 wrecked everyones hopes and dreams lol + Android is gonna be the new kingpin and VZW's new baby. Overall i really really like the Storm 2
Google is just getting better...I compare them to Apple on the level of...."if something is put out by Google, I am almost certainly interested in trying it." They have a huge buy-in with how they create there applications and how they cover such a broad range of needs. I heart Google lol. This navigation app has everything you would want from what I'm seeing

Finally...native support for BB and Mac, the future looks bright
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
