There's me thinking there might finally be a Tommy Cooper game...
Plus tbh I really don't think that's a bad cover bar the promo text, yes it can be done in Photoshop but so can merging a load of pre-rendered game characters with a load of brushes, just because it's a bit more mature and won't stand out on a shelf to someone with a half-second attention span doesn't mean it's crap...
WHY DOES EVERYONE GIVE A SHIT?!

Jesus christ people don't half get pissy when a piece of plastic they're never going to look at doesn't look how they want it to, get the fuck over it and either buy the game or don't...

It irritates me how 'cool' it is to hate GH, especially considering half the people that do bitch buy the bloody games anyway. I'm sorry to all said people that someone significantly more clever than you has come up with something you'll pay money for but if it really gripes you that much don't buy it and stop whinging. I can't help but feel that if the first comment on here had been positive we probably would have a much higher number of positive comments.

Personally, I probably will buy this, not straight away and probably second-hand, DLC is all well and good but I can't be the only one who enjoys the challenge of new songs I wouldn't normally listen to...?
I don't get why him saying "a new xbox 360" means a radical change? It surely will just be a new SKU with Natal bundled (in whichever way that means, though I can't see it being much different than a USB version of the wii receiver).

From the looks of the official Natal video it looks like the system will just try to be a replacement of a controller to a certain extent (see the part where they're flicking through videos on the NXE) so there's going to be no need for any kind of major hardware or software revision, hence why he said, "a new xbox *360*" and not just, "a new xbox"

My guess is:
- New console (maybe slim), same internal specs, more USB ports
- NXE running as normal
- Bundled with Natal and a controller as normal

No big who-har...
I think the video did really well to skim over *anything* new and interesting, i just sat for 5 minutes watching the android browser hoping to see some more of that start-up screen, alas not...
They definitely lost one of the drums half way through :-/ I was really hoping I wouldn't have to buy this GH but party-play wise it's starting to look like a necessity...
Was I the only one who got the man-giggles at the "depth perception fail!" part?!
I'm admittedly a bit of a GH whore, but I'll happily buy this if the song list is good.

New recordings of some of the old and simply dire covers from GH1 & 2 will be great and full band versions of some of the classics: count my thumbs well and truly up :-)
@ Foetoid

Presumably region, in the UK at least it's Wally (which definately has a better ring to it than 'Waldo' IMO)... unless they're inter-continental twins :-/
I recently wrote about something like this (which I wont link to as i know full well no-one cares about my shitty little blog ;-] ) and I'd love it if 'bonus' achievements could be obtained outside of the xbox itself, like say if you watched a training video on a FPS' official site or something like that. I'd personally love achievements to bridge media boundaries so I'm all up for non-gaming ones...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
