Is "FRITZ" really a good name for any technology? I'm going to develop a new tire innovation and call it "FLAT" . . . or maybe start a mutual fund named "BROKE".
I did flip back and forth between CBS and NBC. The picture itself was identical. I did notice that CBS was having all sorts of problems with their audio feed early into the address. There was an echo and the President's mouth was moving to the softer of the two sound streams. They got it worked out after a few seconds.
Someone over at Digg mentioned that while the PS3 may eventually support all of these features (pipe dream?), they may not all be available at launch. That scenario seems very likely to me, especially given the recent feature progression in the PSP. Like John said, if it all comes true, and it is even remotely affordable, the games will come second. Looks like it's time to find a second job . . .
So that's what that was. I guess it makes sense now. I had heard about these Easter eggs before, but I didn't put two and two together.
Excellent. Let's get this train moving already.
The chances of one of these balloons hitting someone have to be ridiculously small - - especially given the sparse population. Besides, I'd be surprized if you told me there's never been an accident involving a traditional cell tower. I certainly don't want one of those hitting my house either.
I don't see Burberry sending you care packages any time soon :)
I blogged about this a few days ago, but I'm glad to see it getting more press here. I think that $129.99 is a small price to pay for fewer wires (read high WAF - Wife Acceptance Factor). I sort of agree with 'Dallas Texas' above, and the same could be said about all of those pre-n routers being sold. But it seems that they are selling well and a lot of people are satisfied . . . at least in the short term.
I think I smell the plot of "Rocky Eleventy-Two" coming together here.
agree - - sorry.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
